Below is a synopsis of your job function:
● Spot Opportunities: Proactively identify new market opportunities and emerging customer needs to expand our presence in the industry.
● Build Strong Partnerships: Develop and nurture a robust customer base, creating long-term relationships built on trust and performance.
● Drive Account Success: Strengthen connections with key accounts to deliver exceptional service, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty.
● Lead with Impact: Prepare compelling proposals and quotations - and follow through to win business and exceed expectations.
● Be the Customer’s Voice: Gather and analyze feedback, track product performance, and recommend tailored solutions that make a difference.
● Support Every Step: Provide expert pre-sales and after-sales support - from technical training to problem-solving and strategic consulting.
● Stay Ahead of the Curve: Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
● Keep Goals on Track: Participate in regular internal strategy meetings to ensure alignment and execution of business objective
Background:
● Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences from a recognised university or college.
Experience:
● Preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience in the coatings industry with a proven sales track record.
● Familiar with Automotive Coatings standards and technologies.
● Candidates with proven sales experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge & Skill:
● Fluent in reading and conversing in Chinese as you need to liaise with China-based automotive manufacturers.
● Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.
Personal trait:
● Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
● Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.
● A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
● A good team player and communicator.
● Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
