As a Chemist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical expertise on advances and innovations in R&D for Industrial Use coatings. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.
Below is a synopsis of your job function:
● Managing the day-to-day general operations of the assigned chemical analysis and laboratory testing and analysis;
● Devise research methods, set up laboratory test equipment, design formulations, and related application technologies;
● Responsible for product testing and approval, product adjustments, and other technical support as and when necessary;
● Prepare complex calculations, specifications and other ISO-related technical documentation so that new or revised formulations can be manufactured;
● Visit customers as and when necessary for troubleshooting and technical problem evaluation;
● Plan, design, conduct, and analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions.
Background & Experience:
● Bachelor's / Master's degree in Chemistry from recognized university
● Preferably 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience in the Automotive industry.
● Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge & Skill:
● Familiar with IU industry standards.
● Experienced with a proven track record in the ability to solve technical application issues for industrial coatings.
