A sustainable business foundation begins with a supported and capable workforce. Across the region, our business units are actively investing in the physical wellbeing, morale, and professional development of our employees. From comprehensive leadership training to initiatives that foster a positive daily workplace environment, we are ensuring our teams possess the resilience and skills required to navigate evolving market demands.
Enhancing the Daily Workplace Experience Through Culinary Care
Workplace wellbeing extends to the daily experiences our teams share. Nippon Paint China launched a comprehensive “Cafeteria Guide,” taking employees on a virtual tour of the diverse culinary offerings across its regional facilities. The guide highlighted how the company provides scientifically balanced fat-loss meals alongside comforting, authentic regional dishes such as Langfang’s signature pork chop rice and Chuansha’s sauce-braised bone—proving that a hearty appetite reflects a positive mindset. To create a better environment for team bonding, the facilities include dedicated employee ‘memory walls’ and styled private rooms featuring tea tables and greenery. The initiative also showcased the transparent “open and bright kitchen” concept at the Central Region facility, ensuring high standards of hygiene and care.
Prioritising Mental Wellbeing and Team Connectivity
To boost team morale and actively relieve stress, Betek teams in Gebze and Maltepe participated in laughter yoga sessions facilitated by wellness partner Heltia. This initiative reinforced the belief that strong teamwork often begins with a shared, positive mindset. Taking a mindful break from their operational routines, the team also gathered to welcome spring by planting flowers together in the Headquarters’ garden, providing a shared space to breathe, connect with nature, and share positive energy.

Celebrating Resilience and Employee Dedication
Acknowledging the foundational people who shape our regional success, V-tech Malaysia hosted a spectacular “Together Through Times” retro-themed Annual Dinner for 2026. Featuring inspiring addresses from top management, the night was a vibrant celebration of corporate resilience. The event prominently featured heartfelt Long Service Awards to honour the loyalty of dedicated staff, alongside stunning cultural and rock performances during “Vital Got Talent” and a highly anticipated lucky draw.

Equipping Operational Leaders for Peak Efficiency
In a drive to continuously improve internal capabilities, Betek successfully completed a comprehensive Leadership Development Programme designed specifically for regional warehouse and shift supervisors. Led by expert trainers, the programme focused on crucial operational areas such as team management, effective communication, motivation, and operational efficiency, equipping front-line leaders with the precise tools required to drive continuous improvement on the factory floor.

Driving Performance Through Strategic Self-Mastery
Nippon Paint Pakistan rolled out its Sales & Marketing Achievers Training (SMART), an intensive development programme focused on building the next generation of leaders. The training targeted four critical pillars: self-mastery, building the right habits for great results, effective selling skills, and the psychological practice of influencing negotiations. This strategic initiative ensures the commercial team is fully equipped with the “Champion Moments” needed to maintain and expand market excellence.

Dedicated Care for Our Frontline Teams
As the intense summer heat set in across the region, Nippon Paint China launched a nationwide heat-relief campaign to support our dedicated frontline employees. In the Central Region, care packages containing essential supplies were delivered directly into the hands of frontline workers alongside crucial health and safety reminders. The Tianjin Binhai facility took a highly personalised approach, allowing employees to vote on their preferred heat-relief items to ensure the support was exactly what the team needed.
Other regions embraced a refreshing, community-focused approach, sourcing local watermelons to support regional farmers and setting up DIY ice jelly stations where employees could cool off and recharge together. In the West Region, thoughtful care packages featuring fresh fruits and ice-cold drinks were delivered directly to the factory floor. As high temperatures persist, the team will continue to implement these heartfelt measures, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our hardworking frontline teams to safeguard their health, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the summer.
