The Year of the Snake brought a wave of vibrant celebrations across the NIPSEA Group, marking the Lunar New Year with a spirit of camaraderie, cultural appreciation, and a shared commitment to the community. From lively traditions to acts of generosity, the theme of renewal and togetherness resonated throughout.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Roaring Start<\/b><\/p>\n

In Singapore, the festivities at Nippon Paint kicked off with a burst of energy. A traditional lion dance, a symbol of good fortune and excitement, set a joyous tone. Colleagues gathered for a buffet feast, enjoying a delectable array of festive dishes. The spirited <\/span>Lo Hei<\/span><\/i> toss, a symbolic ritual for prosperity and success, was a definite highlight, followed by the added excitement of a lucky draw.

Festive Cheer and Unity<\/b><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nippon Paint welcomed the Year of the Snake with open arms and festive cheer in Malaysia. An energetic lion dance took centre stage, symbolising good luck and warding off negativity. The team gathered for a lively <\/span>Yee Sang<\/span><\/i> tossing ceremony, a vibrant tradition signifying abundance and prosperity.

Colouring Lives with Compassion<\/b><\/p>\n

Extending the festive spirit beyond the workplace, Nippon Paint Indonesia embarked on a meaningful CSR initiative named #ColouringLives. Celebrating the Lunar New Year 2576 Kongzili, the company contributed to the rejuvenation of the Vihara Sobhita Tridharma in Cisauk, Tangerang, Banten, generously providing 288 litres of ultra-premium exterior and interior paint. This act of giving will create a more comfortable and sacred space for worship.

A Nationwide Celebration of Tradition<\/b><\/p>\n

The celebrations continued in China, where the Lantern Festival, marking the culmination of the Lunar New Year, was observed with a rich blend of tradition and team-building. Across Nippon Paint China, from Tianjin to Chengdu, multiple factory locations and districts hosted vibrant events, creating a unified festive spirit.<\/p>\n

  • Hands-on Tradition:<\/b> Employees at numerous factories (Tianjin, Chuansha, Jiande, Nanhui, Jinshan, and North District) enjoyed the hands-on experience of making and sharing <\/span>tangyuan<\/span><\/i> (glutinous rice balls), a symbol of family unity.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Engaging the Mind:<\/b> The popular tradition of lantern riddle contests was embraced at locations like Tianjin, Jinshan, Anhui, Changshu, and Chengdu, often with a clever twist incorporating elements of corporate culture.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Shared Feasts:<\/b> Multiple factories, including those in Jiande, Nanhui, Jinshan, and the Su-Wan region, displayed abundant dumplings, tangyuan, and other festive delicacies.<\/span><\/li>\n
