Nippon Paint Lanka: A School Transformed – A Community United
Imagine a once dull looking school now bursting with life and colour. That’s the reality in Sooriyawewa, Sri Lanka, thanks to a remarkable CSR initiative spearheaded by Nippon Paint Lanka. They led the “Biggest Engagement for CSR Initiative in the Painting Industry” at the Student Jamboree 2024, a powerful collaboration with the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects, architecture students, school children, parents, and the local community. From December 13th to 15th, at Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, this diverse group came together with a shared vision of transforming a school and uplifting an entire community.
Türkiye: Painting Joy Across Istanbul (and Beyond!)
The team at Betek Boya ve Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. (representing Nippon Paint, Filli Boya, Fawori, Tempo, and Dalmaçyalı) believes in the power of colour to uplift communities. That’s why they launched “One Color of Joy to Life” in Türkiye, a project dedicated to bringing hope and cheer to public spaces. The initiative began in Istanbul’s Abbasağa Park, transforming the amphitheatre, playgrounds, and benches with six vibrant colours from Betek Boya’s 2025 palette. More than just a paint job, Betek Boya employees from all departments volunteered, adding their personal touch to the project. The initiative is the first step in a nationwide effort, partnering with municipalities across Türkiye to brighten communities one colourful space at a time.
Singapore: Building Bridges, One Bowling Pin at a Time
Nippon Paint Singapore demonstrated the power of connection through a heartwarming partnership with the Autism Association (AA). Supporting the AA’s CSR activities, Nippon Paint Singapore helped facilitate a seven-week programme to engage adults with autism. Every Saturday from November 9th to December 21st, at the Eden Friendship Club in Bukit Batok, participants enjoyed valuable opportunities for social interaction and skill development. The highlight? A joyful bowling session at the Orchid Country Club on December 7th. Seventy participants shared laughter, strikes, and spares, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of belonging. Nippon Paint Singapore also ensured everyone felt valued, preparing thoughtful goodie bags for all attendees.
