Nippon Paint Thailand Decorative recently unveiled two cutting-edge AI-powered solutions designed to transform the customer colour experience for homeowners and professionals. These pioneering tools, “Nong Nippon” and “Colour Design”, were introduced alongside engaging activities at the “NIPPON PAINT COLOURVERSE Inspire Your World” event held March 6-9, 2025, at CentralWorld in Bangkok.

“Nong Nippon” is Thailand’s first intelligent, 24/7 paint-related customer assistant. Inspired by the brand’s mascot, this AI smart assistant simplifies colour selection and troubleshooting. It handles diverse queries, from addressing paint issues and providing product details to calculating paint quantities and costs for a room and even locating sales points. Utilising text and speech recognition, Nong Nippon offers expert advice instantly, making project planning easier.

Complementing the assistant is “Colour Design,” an innovative web-based tool that brings customer visions to life. Users can upload a photo of their space, select preferred colour tones and styles (like minimal or vintage), and add descriptive prompts. The AI then generates a simulated image of the redesigned room, suggesting specific Nippon Paint colour codes to achieve the look. This allows both homeowners and designers to visualise outcomes accurately before committing.

The “COLOURVERSE” event provided a dynamic platform for attendees to experience these innovations. Visitors interacted live with “Nong Nippon” via an impressive 3-meter Holovue screen. Another highlight was the “Colour Brainwave” activity, where participants discovered their identity colour selected from over 2,300 Nippon Paint shades through brainwave analysis. Results were vividly displayed in a simulated room using the “Colour Design” technology. Hands-on workshops featuring Nippon Paint AirCare also allowed guests to experience product quality directly.
