The Nippon Paint Railway (Vibgyor) Business has been honoured with the “Prestigious Honour for Achievement in Painting and Coating Solutions for Coaches” at the 7th Rail Analysis Innovation & Excellence Summit 2026. As a key coatings supplier to Indian Railways, Vibgyor provides high-performance, durable, and eco-friendly coating solutions for railway coaches. By combining advanced paint technologies with proven credentials, the business directly enhances the corrosion protection, aesthetics, lifecycle performance, and sustainability of domestic rolling stock, paving the way for global expansion in the heavy infrastructure sector.

Expanding Middle East Operations 

Nippon Paint Middle East (NPME) is officially launching a new manufacturing facility in the UAE. This operational milestone signals a strategic shift from maintaining a mere presence to establishing NPME as a highly relevant and reliable brand within the region.

Strategic Green Partnerships 

A new strategic partnership was officially signed between Nippon Paint Vietnam and Design and Construction Joint Stock Company No 1 (DECOFI) on 2 February 2026. This alliance focuses on prioritising international-standard paint systems to promote green building trends, reduce carbon footprints, and ensure maximum safety for public health in upcoming construction projects.

Celebrating Dealer Network Performance 

Nippon Paint Thailand hosted the “Boundless Together” Dealer Conference 2026 to celebrate collaboration and thank dealers nationwide. The event highlighted achievements from 2025 and reinforced the brand’s identity as a “Thinking Brand”—representing Japanese paint that thinks through every drop. In addition to honouring outstanding dealer performance, the conference fostered connection through creative activities and concluded with a special mini-concert by legendary artists Mos and Tata to build shared momentum for the year ahead.

Breakthrough Auto Refinish Technology 

On the automotive front, the Nippon Paint Malaysia Auto Refinish team has launched the AI-PPS (Self-Healing Invisible Armor Paint Protective Spray-On). This breakthrough in automotive surface protection features intelligent self-healing properties designed to minimise minor marks and scratches over time, actively preserving the vehicle’s true value.

Aligning 2026 Strategic Priorities 

The management team at Betek recently gathered for a comprehensive two-day Strategic Plan Workshop. Led by General Manager Hasan Gökhan Güner, the sessions focused on clarifying 2026 priorities and ensuring these goals align seamlessly with the broader direction of the Nippon Paint holding. A key outcome was establishing a common language across different disciplines to strengthen cross-departmental execution. The workshop also featured an insightful presentation by guest speaker Akan Abdula on the “New Ground Economy”, reminding the team of the importance of using daily data and field insights to adapt strategies dynamically.
