Our dedication to creating a positive community impact continues to grow, reaching into local classrooms, public spaces, and the daily experiences of our teams. Over the past few months, NIPSEA Group entities have actively invested in upskilling local talent, honouring shared cultural traditions, and transforming environments to inspire those who use them.

Design for Daily Comfort

A unique exploration of design and community recently took centre stage in Bintaro through the “Discover Colours 2026” exhibition. Hosted in collaboration with Living Loving and various local creative partners, the event positioned colour as a strategic element for family comfort and quality of life. Ahead of the Ramadan season, the showcase introduced four distinct palettes (Bahari, Netral, Tropis, and Etnik) specifically tailored for modern Indonesian living spaces.

Revitalising Places of Worship

Preparations for the holy month of Ramadan brought together the Nippon Paint Indonesia team and local government bodies to restore the Masjid Agung As-Salam in Lubuk Linggau. A dedicated donation of 3,761 litres of paint helped refresh the mosque’s exterior and main walls. The colour selection was designed to harmonise with the building’s distinct Middle Eastern architecture, presenting a clean and welcoming environment for the local congregation.

Validating Unsung Craftsmanship

Recognising the value of deeply experienced but uncertified tradespeople, Nippon Paint India launched a vital Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme alongside the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation. This initiative formally certifies Sri Lankan Refugee Tamil painters across 23 districts. Rather than teaching basic skills, the programme acknowledges the years of unrecognised craftsmanship these professionals already bring to the construction ecosystem, directly strengthening their livelihoods and fostering a highly inclusive workforce.

Brightening Educational Spaces

Creating an inspiring learning environment was the primary goal of a recent paint donation and colour wash project at Akaravita Maha Vidyalaya in Kosgama. To execute this meaningful refurbishment, Nippon Paint Sri Lanka partnered closely with the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) alongside dedicated architecture students and lecturers from four prominent national universities.

Life-Saving Contributions

Taking voluntary action to create a tangible impact, the Industrial Coatings Business Unit at Nippon Paint India organised a highly successful Blood Donation Camp. The mid-January event saw a strong turnout of employees stepping forward to donate, made possible through a strategic partnership with the Mumbadevi Blood and Thalassemia Day Care Centre in Vashi.

Embracing Cultural Heritage

The arrival of the spring season provided a perfect opportunity for teams to bond over shared cultural traditions. Colleagues across Nippon Paint Pakistan and Nippon Paint Bangladesh welcomed the seasonal renewal with vibrant Basant and Bashanto Boron Utshob celebrations.

Strengthening Core Values

A spirited “Tug of War 2026” tournament at Nippon Paint Pakistan transformed friendly competition into a powerful display of organisational alignment. The event was purposefully designed to celebrate the company’s “VITALS” core values. By physically pulling together, the participants highlighted exactly how team inclusion, mutual trust, and diversity actively empower employees to achieve their shared objectives.
